Account deletion

You can leave—and take your data with you.

Delete from the app

  1. Open TressDNA and sign in.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Select Delete account and confirm.
  4. If asked, sign in again and repeat the deletion to verify it is you.

What is deleted

The deletion flow requests deletion of the linked RevenueCat customer and removes your Firebase Authentication account, TressDNA profile, directly linked request-limit records, TressDNA’s purchase-entitlement projection, and the account’s local preferences and saved analysis results on that device.

What may remain

Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, Google AdMob, or OpenAI may retain transaction, security, consent, fraud-prevention, or abuse-monitoring records under their policies and legal obligations. De-identified records and records TressDNA must retain for tax, accounting, disputes, security, or law may also remain for the required period.

Deleting the account does not cancel an active subscription. Cancel it separately in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.

Cannot access the app?

Email cynodev256@gmail.com from the address connected to your account. Include “TressDNA account deletion” in the subject. We may request information needed to verify ownership, but never send us your password, SMS code, or a face photo.
